Misuzu Hamono

Misuzu Hamono, founded in 1946 in Miki City, Japan, is recognized as the first knife workshop to introduce stainless steel coated blades with a high-carbon steel core. Developed by its founder, Mr. Suzuki Shinji, this special construction ensures the blades remain exceptionally sharp while also offering rust protection. Mr. Miyawaki, the third-generation master craftsman of Misuzu Hamono, in his 50s, apprenticed in the famous knife-making city of Sakai until 2005 and became the master craftsman of Misuzu Hamono in 2006.
