SG2/R2 Blades

SG2 (or R2) is a high-performance Japanese steel produced using powder metallurgy. This steel offers excellent sharpness, durability, and rust resistance. Its high carbon and molybdenum content results in high hardness (approximately 63-64 HRC). It also retains its sharpness for a long time and has excellent cutting ability. SG2 is particularly preferred in professional chef's knives.

Chemical Composition: C 1.25 - 1.45%, Cr 14.00 - 16.00%, Mo 2.3 - 3.3%, V 1.8 - 2.2%
